The rematch between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko is reportedly in jeopardy.

The fight, which is set to take place at Manchester Arena, live on BoxNation, is the contractually mandated return of the November, 2015 showdown which Fury (25-0, 18 KOs) won on points to dethrone the Ukrainian (64-4, 53 KOs) in Germany.

The WBA Super, WBO and IBO world heavyweight titles were set to be at stake on October 29 but the highly-anticipated rematch is now said to be off, with a new date to be confirmed.

Boxing Scene has contacted Queensberry Promotions, Hennessy Sports and K2 for comment but has yet to receive a response.

Multiple sources are reporting that the fight will be postponed, with further details — including a reason behind the new delay and for how long we’ll have to wait before the pair are in the ring again — to come.

The original date for the rematch was July 9 in Manchester but that was forced back after champion Fury, who is currently subject to investigation by UK Anti-Doping after he was found to have the banned substance Nandrolone in his system on June 24, withdrew with an ankle injury.

There will be more to follow.
