Tyson Fury Slams Klitschko Brothers Over Recent Comments

Former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has fired off some comments in the direction of Wladimir and Vitali Klitschko.

Fury is coming back to the ring on June 9 at the Manchester Arena against Sefer Seferi.

The contest will be the first for Fury since his stunning twelve round unanimous decision win over Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015 in Germany.

In a recent interview with BT Sport, the Klitschko brothers were critical of Fury - and they were also singing the praises of current IBF, WBA, WBO, IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Vitali Klitschko, who had previously held the WBC world title, believes Fury is nothing more than a trash talker - and also took a swing at the 'Gypsy King' for his drug testing issue from 2015 - which saw Fury test positive for a banned substance and eventually, earlier this year, he accepted a back-dated two year ban.

“Tyson Fury is the world champion of talking – trash talking! I wish him all the best but what he did was not good for boxing, is my personal opinion,” said Vitali Klitschko.

“Right now, Anthony Joshua is world champion. Very soon, Joshua will be a world star and after that a boxing legend.”

In the opinion of Wladimir Klitschko, the more complete fighter is Joshua - who sent Wladimir into retirement with an eleven round stoppage win in April 2017 before a crowd of 90,000 at Wembley Stadium.

“I believe a full, complete, fighter is Anthony Joshua. He has been active, more active, and he’s got this talent of being strong and mobile. He [AJ] was born on April 29 in London of last year. Because, he took punishment as well. He got up, he continued, he won the fight.  He had it not easy. I think that made him better and trust his own skills," Wladimir Klitschko said.

It didn't take long before their statements reached the ears of Fury, who wasted no time in firing back.

“Vitali, you say I'm the trash talking champion? Yes I am! And it worked against your brother! [Wladimir] keeps talking Anthony Joshua up because he gave him a 50/50, talk me up, you couldn't land a blow on me! Man up and tell the truth. Stop being a sore loser,” Fury said.

Furys strength is his ability to move for his size, he's a great mover.
Made it look easy? Haha Fury stumbled around the ring and happened to flit his gloves out there a bit more often so he got the nod. He deserved the decision sure but lets not pretend that it was all…
let's be honest here. no one around today would beat vitali klitschko in his prime
Forget all these assumptions, that time is passed. Let's face now and future. Any HW can be beating. Nobody is unbeatable.
