Trevor Bryan: record, next fight and profile →
Frank Warren, promoter for heavyweight puncher Daniel Dubois, is looking to have his boxer challenge WBA "regular" champion Trevor Bryan next. Earlier this week, Dubois' United States debut was officially announced.
Telford International Centre, Telford - Frank Warren, promoter for Daniel Dubois (16-1, 15 KOs), will push for his boxer to get a mandatory crack at WBA "regular" champion Trevor Bryan (21-0, 15 KOs).
WBA "regular" heavyweight champion Trevor Bryan is eager to secure a much bigger opportunity, with a big name in the weight class, as he continues training in Florida following winning the title.
Eddie Hearn, promoter for heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte, is still very interested in staging his boxer's next fight in the United States. Last month in Gibraltar, Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) stopped Alexander Povetkin in the fourth round of their highly-anticipated rematch. The victory avenged a brutal knockout loss that Whyte suffered back in August of 2020.
Heavyweight contender Mahmoud "Manuel" Charr, 36-years-old, is still motivated to secure the biggest fights possible - including the winner of a potential summer unification between world champions Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
Deerfield Beach, FL - Trevor “The Dream” Bryan is now looking for a much bigger opportunity after last month's knockout of former WBC heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne. In that fight, Bryan sent Stiverne down to the canvas in the eleventh round and then finished him off before referee Frank Gentile stopped the fight and Bryan walked off with the WBA "regular" heavyweight championship.
By Jake Donovan - In the end, Trevor Bryan got everything he wanted—chief among them, a long-awaited return to the ring. The unbeaten heavyweight ended a 29-month inactive stretch with a new trinket in tow. Bryan claims the vacant WBA “World” heavyweight title after stopping former WBC titlist Bermane Stiverne inside of 11 rounds Friday evening at Seminole Har...
The third time’s a charm for the WBA, although an industry celebration is hardly expected to come from its latest ruling. The now vacant WBA “World” heavyweight title is officially at stake for Friday’s bout between Trevor Bryan and Bermane Stiverne, the sanctioning body revealed in its final decision on the lingering matter. The winner will be forced to next face prior title claimant Mahmoud (Manuel) Charr, who has been demoted to “Champion in Recess” while he attempts to resolve any lingering visa issues currently preventing him from fighting outside of Germany.
Trevor Bryan and Bermane Stiverne are set to fight, even as confusion lingers over the exact stakes. The pair of heavyweights weighed 267 pounds apiece for their forthcoming fight which headlines a Don King-distributed Pay-Per-View event Friday evening from Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
The show will go, or at least what is left of it. Hall of Fame promoter Don King is moving forward with his scheduled fight card to take place Friday evening at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The show was originally billed as two title fights but is down to one which is still pending, as the title status remains under review by the WBA for a makeshift main event between Trevor Bryan and Bermane Stiverne.
