WBO junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford (27-0, 19KOs) is waiting on Manny Pacquiao to make a decision regarding his next opponent for April 9th.

Crawford, WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley and British star Amir Khan are the frontrunners to face the Filipino superstar.

Pacquiao (57-6-2, 38KOs) was expected to make his decision last Friday night. He told his promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, that he needed more time to make his selection.

The return in April is slated to be the final fight of Pacquiao's professional career. The former eight division world champion is running for a senate seat in the Philippines next year.

Bradley is viewed as the frontrunner. As reported earlier, Bradley says his team is still negotiating a potential deal. Crawford is very good friends with Bradley, who says the Omaha boxer should be the one to get Pacquiao in April. 

With the year coming to a close, Pacquiao's decision could come at any moment.

"We are waiting. I'm possibly going to fight again in February or March. If Pacquiao happens, it would then be in April if not earlier," Crawford told Fox Deportes. "[The Pacquiao fight is] what I want and Pacquiao would give me the momentum [to become a superstar]."
