While light heavyweight rulers Sergey Kovalev and Adonis Stevenson won't be trading leather anytime soon, their promoters are exchanging letters after Main Events pulled out of the April 17th WBC purse bid that was designed to set up a meeting between the two.

BoxingScene.com was able to obtain this proposal that Kathy Duva and Main Events sent to Yvon Michel, the head of GYM, that explained their situation and hope to still negotiate this fight at a 50-50 financial split [Click To Read Letter Here].

Well, it seems as though we have a fight - it's just not in the ring.
