Today's press conference to promote the scheduled fight between Andrew Golota and Przemyslaw Saleta, on February 23rd in Gdansk, got very heated but not because of the main event fighters. Polish heavyweight prospects Artur Szpilka (12-0, 9 KOs) and Krzysztof Zimnoch (13-0-1, 10 KOs) nearly brawled after a face to face verbal confrontation.

There was a minor tussle, but neither fighter landed punches.

During the last two weeks the two fighters have been taking shots at each other in the media. Szpilka was shouting "I will destroy you" as members of the promotion were pulling him away.

The two young boxers will collide on the undercard, but Szpilka will first take on veteran Mike Mollo (20-3-1, 12 KOs) in an ESPN televised fight on February 1 in Chicago.

"He said something to me, he wanted to provoke me. I do not remember exactly how it went, because I'm still a little heated. Zimnoch is lucky that I did not hit him. I did not knock him out here, because later on he would say that he was unprepared for the punch," Szpilka said.
