In the last few weeks, heavyweight contender Tyson Fury has been calling out anyone and everyone in boxing, pro wrestling and even mixed martial arts.
Last month, Fury made his pro wrestling debut with the WWE, when he defeated Braun Strowman by countout, as part of the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.
More recently, Fury began to call out different names in the MMA world - specifically UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
Fury has teased the idea of stepping inside the octagon to face Miocic under MMA rules.
UFC President Dana White has already warned Fury that it "won't end well' if he decides to follow through with his desire to test the MMA waters.
But Miocic has embraced Fury's challenge, and admits the opportunity to face the talkative boxer is more intriguing for him than a trilogy fight with Daniel Cormier.
Miocic appears to be on board to face Fury in the ring or in the octagon.
“Tyson Fury is coming in the mix now, I hear,” Stipe Miocic said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show. “I like a new challenge.”
“I’d love to box him. He’s a great fighter. He’s a good dude, and I think we’d put on a good show.
“With DC, I didn’t fluke knock him out, I beat him. I decisively beat him. The first fight DC caught me with a punch in the first round. But [the] second fight I won. I didn’t get lucky. Right now, [a Cormier fight] doesn’t really intrigue me. More with the Tyson Fury, I like that.”
