According to promoter Yvon Michel of GYM, he placed a hold on Montreal's Bell Centre for April 4th - for a potential fight  between WBC light heavyweight king Adonis Stevenson (24-1, 20KOs) and the mandatory challenger, former champion Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17KOs).

Stevenson is going to make a voluntary defense in December but then he must meet his mandatory obligation against Pascal. Michel has already submitted the name and the necessary details of Stevenson's voluntary to World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman. Michel hopes to reach an agreement with Pascal's management, but also has no issue heading to a mandatory purse bid, where Stevenson would retain the bulk of the money.
