Boxing fans in Southern California will have many options on where to catch a fight card on Friday night.

Boxing returns to the Coachella Valley of Southern California as Golden Boy Promotions presents a main event between two junior welterweights.

Unbeaten Frankie Gomez will face Vernon Paris in a ten round bout at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio. The bout headlines a Golden Boy Live! broadcast on Fox Sports One and Fox Sports Deportes, beginning at 10PM ET/ 7PM PT.

Gomez (17-0, 13 KOs) is coming off a second round knockout over Orlando Vazq uez on April 26 in Carson, Calif. The East Los Angeles resident had his career stall about this time last year following brushes with the law in the Los Angeles area.

Gomez has demonstrated his serious to live up to the high expectations the promotional company have for him by having trainer Freddie Roach in his corner.

Paris (28-1, 16 KOs) has won his last two bouts in a row since suffering his only loss as a pro to Zab Judah in March of 2012.

Paris was scheduled to fight Cleotis "Mookie" Pendarvis earlier this year in the Los Angeles suburb of Montebello, but the fight fell through, reportedly because Pendarvis was having issues with weight. In his last bout on May 10 of last year, Paris struggled to win a 10 round unanimous decision over Manuel Perez in Detroit, Mich.

Also fighting in Indio on Friday night is unbeaten bantamweight Ivan Morales (25-0, 14 KOs). He will fight Sergio Frias (15-3-2, 8 KOs) in a 10 round bout.

Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased by calling (800) 827-2946.

About 90 miles west on Interstate 10, Thompson Boxing Promotions presents another "Locked 'N Loaded" card at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario.

The bout was originally scheduled as the co-feature, but was bumped up after the original headlining act—a 10-round super bantamweight crossroads match between Efrain Esquivias and Chris Martin—was canceled this week when Esquivias was forced to withdraw after coming down with a fever.

Torres (13-4, 1 KO) has won his last two bouts after losing four fights in a row.

Four more bouts round out the card.

Tickets start at $40 and could be purchased by calling (714) 935-0900. Doors open at 6:30PM, with first bell scheduled for 7:45PM.

Boxing returns to "America's Finest City" as Bobby D. Presents presents another edition of "San Diego Fights: Border Wars II."

Super featherweight Aaron Garcia of nearby Vista will fight Daniel Ramirez (10-1, 4 KOs) in an eight round bout at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in San Diego.

Garcia (14-3-2, 4 KOs) has won his last four bouts in a row since losing controversial back-to-back losses to Abraham Lopez and Bernabe Concepcion in 2011.

Ramirez had fought his first 10 bouts in his hometown of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. In his last bout on April 5, Ramirez traveled to Brook, in Northern California, where he lost a six round unanimous decision to Guy Robb.

Four more bouts will round out the card.

Tickets could be purchased at SanDiegoFights.com or by calling (619) 420-8866.

Doors open at 6:30PM, with first bell scheduled for 7:30PM.
