Shane Mosley: record, next fight and profile →

LAS VEGAS – Shane Mosley has dismissed suggestions that Saul “Canelo” Alvarez enters Saturday’s fight with Jaime Munguia in decline. At Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena, on the occasion of Cinco de Mayo weekend, Alvarez will defend his undisputed super middleweight title against his fellow Mexican Jaime Munguia, who, at 27, is younger than him by six years.

Saul “Canelo” Alvarez didn’t just grab the torch of boxing superstardom from his former promoter Oscar De La Hoya and his first professional conqueror Floyd Mayweather. He also inherited the Cinco de Mayo weekend headlining gig from them.

Raymond Ford knew he couldn’t risk leaving the outcome of his fight with Otabek Kholmatov in the hands of the judges

Terence Crawford’s spectacular win over Errol Spence Jr. has given him worldwide attention. Heading in, most were under the assumption that the two were practically on the same playing field. However, after nine incredibly one-sided rounds, Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs) proved that he was the clearcut better fighter, at least that night.

Shakur Stevenson and Devin Haney simply don’t like each other. They've gone from respectfully calling each other out, to hurling curse-filled tirades at one another every chance they get.

Once Floyd Mayweather pushed his record to 50-0, he brought down the curtains on his Hall of Fame career. Having retired several times in the past, Mayweather has always appeared ready to jump back into the sport whenever he wanted. Over the years, however, the now 46-year-old hasn’t had the itch to return. But that doesn’t mean former fighters aren’t still talking about him.

Former three division world champion Shane Mosley believes that he can transform Jake Paul into a solid pro boxer. Paul, who was previously trained by retired boxer BJ Flores, has now hired Mosley as head trainer. The Youtuber turned boxer will return to the ring on August 5th, when he takes on MMA icon Nate Diaz in an eight round cruiserweight clash. The contest will be carried by DAZN Pay-Per-View.

Former three division champion Shane Mosley is slightly leaning in the direction of Terence Crawford in the upcoming undisputed showdown with Errol Spence. On July 29th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the two undefeated welterweights will collide for the WBC, IBF, WBA, WBO world titles in the main event of a Showtime Pay-Per-View card.

Former three division world champion Shane Mosley is very pleased with the work ethic of Youtube star turned boxer, Jake Paul (6-1, 4 KOs). Paul worked with Mosley in the early designs of his pro boxing run.
