At the Choctaw Gaming Center in Durant, Oklahoma, super middleweight prospect Edwin Rodriguez (14-0, 10 KOs) kept his undefeated streak going by destroying George Armenta (13-6, 11 KOs) in 47-seconds of the first round with a hook to the body that sent him down for the count.

Junior welterweight Prenice Brewer (14-0-1, 6 KOs) remained undefeated with a very exciting six round unanimous decision over Chris Fernandez (18-9, 11 KOs). The scoress were 58-56, 59-55 and 59-55. The fight was a back and forth battle in some rounds and they traded often.

In the main event, junior middleweight Sechew Powell (26-2, 15KOs) got revenge with a twelve round majority decision over Deandre Latimore (20-3, 16KOs) in an IBF title eliminator. The scores were 117-111 for Powell, 114-114 for a draw and 116-112 for Powell. Latimore had previously stopped Powell in seven rounds in 2008.

The first three rounds were close pitched. In the fourth, a fight broke out with Latimore stunning Powell and trying to take him out in the final minute with hard combinations. Powell would go back to boxing in the fifth, giving himself distance and working behind the jab while moving. By the eight round, Latimore's right eye was swelling and taking a pounding, and Powell was starting to pile up the rounds with his boxing and movement.

Latimore made a late charge in the eleventh. He stunned Powell with a two-punch combo but couldn't finish the job. Powell went back to his boxing in the twelfth, moving and jabbing until the final bell.
