Unbeaten Saul Rodriguez will fight Daulis Prescott in the 10 round main event at the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, a suburb of Los Angeles.

“For this fight I sparred Speedy Mares, Hector Tanajara, Mikey Garcia a lot,” said Rodriguez, 23, to scribe David Avila. “I don’t think he’s going to be better than any of my sparring partners.”

“I know what to do and I know how to fight. Just be patient and don’t look for a knockout. I know I have power but I don’t need to prove it right away. I have to be smart first"

"Five years training with Eduardo and Big G (Robert Garcia), I feel a lot has changed. I’m a lot better fighter. I’m more tactical. I’m not just a brawler. I can box. Every fight I’m going to improve. I’m going to be better than my last fight.”

Opening the 'Solo Boxeo Tecate' broadcast will be a six round junior flyweight bout between Carlos Licona and Cesar Sustaita.

Licona (6-0, 2 KOs) won a four round unanimous decision over Pedro Verdin in his last bout on Feb. 20.

Sustaita (3-2, 3 KOs) has lost his last two bouts after winning his first three bouts of his career.

In non-televised action:
- Heavyweight Andy Ruiz (26-0, 17 KOs) will square off against former world title challenger Ray Austin (29-6-4, 18 KOs) in an eight round bout.

- Toka Kahn Clary (18-0, 12 KOs) faces Orlando Rizo (19-6, 11 KOs) in a 10 round featherweight bout.

- Unbeaten and 2012 Olympic Silver medalist Esquiva Falcao (13-0, 10 KOs) battles Paul Valenzuela (10-2, 6 KOs) in an eight round bout.

- Welterweight Arnold Barboza (11-0, 4 KOs) squares off against John Nater (15-7, 11 KOs) in a six round bout.

Doors to the venue open at 5:30 p.m. local time. First bell is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
