Marco Antonio Rubio and Jorge Cota both weighed in under the middleweight limit for their 12-round main event, which airs live from Auditorio Centenario in Torreon, Mexico.

Rubio came in at 159.5 lb., slightly heavier than Cota, who came in at 158.75 lb.

Rubio (53-6-1, 46KO) fights for the first time since his failed bid against Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. earlier this year. With that fight coming in front of a pro-Chavez Jr. crowd (and commission, given the post-fight follies), Rubio embraces his first homecoming fight in nearly 18 months.

Cota (12-0, 11KO) grabbed headlines with a stoppage win over Yori Boy Campas last November, leaving the 24-year old to believe that now is the time to fast track to contender status.

The bout will air live on Televisa.
