Ryan Burnett will return to the ring next weekend.
The British bantamweight champion has been handed a non-title assignment at the Hull Arena.
Burnett (15-0, 9 KOs) was last in action against Ryan Farrag in Liverpool in October, live on Sky Sports.
And the 24-year-old will return to the same platform on February 25, as part of the undercard to Gavin McDonnell’s clash against Rey Vargas for the vacant WBC world super-bantamweight title, when he takes on Joseafat Reyes over eight rounds.
Reyes (6-7-1, 1 KO) is 23 and based out of Spain but was born in Mexico.
WBC International champion Burnett will be Reyes’ fourth foe on British soil, him having previously boxed twice in Glasgow and once in Leeds, Yorkshire.
Elsewhere on the card, Luke Campbell provides the chief support as he makes the second defence of his WBC Silver lightweight crown against Jairo Lopez.
Tommy Coyle features over 10 rounds and there is action for Jacob Wooley, Conisbrough heavyweight David Allen, Dec Spelman, Carl Chadwick and Connor Seymour.
