Manager Vadim Kornilov recently stated that his "Siberian Rocky," former WBO world welterweight champion Ruslan Provodnikov, was going to fight in Russia on a fall date. The date has now been set to November 28th in Moscow against an opponent to be determined.

"Well, everything ended positively. I've been wanting to fight in Russia, in front of my fans. Well, now I have such an opportunity. Opponents are still refusing to fight me, but there's still time. On Monday, I will arrive in the United States and I will continue training already there," Provodnikov said.

It will be the first fight for Provodnikov (23-3, 16KOs) since losing an upset decision, and his WBO title, to Chris Algieri. Provodnikov is trained by Freddie Roach.
