BoxingScene.com recently caught up with WBC flyweight champion Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (41-0). Chocolatito had a big year in 2014 going 4-0 while stopping all 4 opponents and capturing a title una third weight class.

Gonzalez, who started his career at 105 pounds, said that he feels very strong at 112 pounds. His plan is to try to capture a title in a fourth weight class in 2016.

"I feel great at 112. I am very relaxed at this weight. I will stay here for another year or so then look to move up," said Gonzalez.

The 27-year-old Nicaraguan and WBA/WBO flyweight champion Juan "El Gallo" Estrada have been linked to a possible unification rematch.  The two met in November, 2012 with Gonzalez winning an unanimous decision in an exciting battle.

There have been rumors that HBO may be interesting in buying the rematch and Gonzalez says he is interested but that both fighters must be compensated fairly or he won't agree to the bout.

"There has been a lot of talk but honestly we need bigger purses for that fight. I already have a fight lined up that I need to take care of first then we can look at that.

"There have been a lot of offers but not anything great. We need a million and they still haven't reached a million," Gonzalez told BoxingScene.com.
