According Prodesa Boxing, who co-promote WBA junior flyweight champion Román "Chocolatito" Gonzalez (34-0, 28KOs), the unbeaten boxer will return on May 25 in Nicaragua. The event will likely take place in Managua, with Gonzalez making his debut at 112-pounds. Gonzalez would like to have a rematch with WBO/WBA champion Juan Francisco "El Gallo" Estrada, who upset Brain Viloria earlier this month. Gonzalez won a twelve round decision over Estrada in November.

"I'm happy because I'm going to fight in the third week of May. I do not know who my opponent, perhaps a Mexican, maybe a Panamanian, but it doesn't matter who it is - I just want to fight," he said. "I wanted to fight 'El Gallo' Estrada, but his handlers said no. The most important thing is that I will fight in Nicaragua, with the support of my people. Honestly, the fight I want is with 'El Gallo' to show people I'm a better fighter and I can win again."
