The WBO NABO featherweight champion Gamalier "Gammy" Rodriguez ( 23-2-3-16 KO 's) is confident of a win this Saturday when he face Orlando "Fenomeno" Cruz ( 20-3-1-10 KO 's) in a bout scheduled for 12 rounds from Bahia Shriners Event Center in Orlando, Florida.

"It was a good camp as we were warned in advance, 2 ½ months as always, we had very good sparring with Seda (Cesar Seda Jr.) who is an elusive boxer and several left handed prospects who helped me to get my hands in,"stated Rodriguez to Mr. Boxing.

Rodriguez knows the importance of getting a win because it would get him a title shot for the WBO featherweight belt, which is currently vacant.

"This will be a very important for my career because it is a springboard for a title fight, but expect a lot from me because it's a fight I'll win by any means. (Cruz ) is a boxer who has skills but I don’t see a way that he can defeat me," added the natural fighter of Barrio La Cambija in Bayamón.

"I do not underestimate anyone but we are 100% confident in the sense that that day we have everything to win."
