Two days prior to a major fight card taking place in Los Angeles, professional boxing will take center stage about 30 miles away tonight.

Fight Sports Entertainment and All Star Boxing will present a three-bout “Fight Night” card at the Sheraton Hotel in Agoura Hills.

Robert “Scrappy” Ortiz will fight Osman Rivera in a scheduled four round lightweight bout.

Ortiz (7-4-1, 3 KOs), of nearby Simi Valley, returned to the ring last November from an almost seven-year absence. He lost a four round unanimous decision to Sergio Nunez.

Dating back to when he made his professional career in June of 2001, Ortiz was unbeaten in his first six bouts. However, he has lost four out of his last six bouts.

Rivera (2-4) of Highland Park, CA, won a one-sided four round unanimous decision over Jorge Moreno on September 28th.

In other bouts, super bantamweight Jesse Villanueva (5-0, 3 KOs) of Palmdale, CA, will fight Jesse Adame in a scheduled four round bout. Adame (2-10-1) has lost his last four bouts in a row.

Super welterweight Josue Garcia of Oxnard, CA will make his professional debut against Elliot Seymour (1-4, 1 KO) in a scheduled four round bout. Rivera trains at the Robert Garcia Boxing Academy in Oxnard.

Five amateur mixed martial arts bouts will also take place on the card.

Proceeds from the card will benefit victims from Hurricane Sandy.

Tickets start at $50 and could be purchased by calling 805-914-4602. Doors open at 6:30, with first bell scheduled for 7:30PM.

The Sheraton Hotel is located at 30100 Agoura Road in Agoura Hills.
