The Spend Abazi, 25-1, vs Robert "the Ghost" Guerrero, 19-2-1, fight for the vacant IBF title has now been announced for February 23 and will take place at the Falconercenter in Copenhagen. For Abazi it´s the biggest fight of his career. He has previously held the EBU title at bantamweight and beat the likes of Alexandre Yagupov, Dmitry Kirilov and Lehlongo Ledwaba.
The big show in Baku, Azerbadjan, that was scheduled for this weekend has been moved to February 10 and will now take in place in St Petersburg.
Jr. welterweights Stephane Benito and Nugzar Margvelashvili clash for the IBF I/C title on February 3 in Toulon.
Thierry Karl, a very controversial winner the first time around, will defend the French 160 lb title against Frank Mezaache on March 31 in St Quentin.
Ukrainian Yuri Voronin has Italian Alberto Servidei as co-challenger for the vacant EBU featherweight title.
Norwegian super bantamweight Reidar Walstad is in London and has sparred with the likes of Martin Power, Ian Napa and Graham Earl. Walstad takes on Jean Marie Codet in Helsinki on January 30.
Jr. welterweight Armando Candel fight Sento Martinez in Sueca, Spain, on February 3. Emiliano Casal is also on the show and might face Colombian veteran Ubadel Soto in another contest at 140.
Georgian lightweights Levan Shonia and Vepkhia Tchilaia clash for the vacant UBO title on February 7 in Tblisi.
