Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is confident Manny Pacquiao would have scored a knockout victory over Floyd Mayweather Jr. - if he was able to use both of his hands.

Pacquiao suffered a right shoulder injury in the fourth round of his twelve round decision loss to Mayweather on May 2nd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao has since had surgery and is not going to fight again until 2016.

During the fight, Pacquiao advised Roach that an injury had occurred, but Roach says he had no idea as to severity of the injury (as the fight was taking place).

According to Roach, there have been no discussions regarding a potential rematch with Mayweather in 2016. Mayweather will first return on September 12th, which the WBC/WBA welterweight champion is claiming to be the final fight of his professional career.

"He told me that he hurt his shoulder and so forth. I'm not a doctor so I can't tell you how hurt he was. I kept telling him to put pressure on him, catch him against the ropes, but Mayweather is a craft guy and it was battle of the science and he outsmarted us a little bit," Roach said to BoxingScene.com. "I dont hear of anyone talking about actually making a rematch right now, but I think with two hands he would have knocked him out."
