Kell Brook is scared of Amir Khan according to Brandon Rios, who also claims he would knock out the world champion.

The IBF welterweight king has been involved in a long-running war of words with British rival Khan, but former world champion Rios says Brook is not serious about the bout and would also get stopped by WBA champion Keith Thurman and Marcos Maidana.

Rios, who saw a potential fight with Brook scrapped earlier in the year, told ESNews:  "Keith Thurman would knock that motherf***** out, Maidana would murder him. I'd kill this guy.

"This motherf***** just saying names to get his name out there, but he ain't stepping up to the plate.

"He's fighting guys who can't hit, like Frankie Gavin and some other guy I never heard of [Jo Jo Dan]. Those are guys nobody ever heard about.

"He's calling names out so they say 'oh Kell Brook's this, Kell Brook's that, they're dodging him, they're scared of him!," Rios continued. "Nobody's scared of that guy!….I'd knock that motherf***** out, take his belt and be happy about it!

"He also won't fight Amir Khan because he knows he'd get his ass handed to him."

Rios (33-2-1-KO24) challenges Timothy Bradley for the WBO title on November 7, while Brook recently postponed a scheduled defence against Diego Chaves due to a rib injury.
