A potential breakthrough year was on the horizon for the unbeaten lightweight before an untimely injury forced him out of his last scheduled fight date. Muratalla (18-0, 15KOs) still has the same matchup in his sights—a ten-round bout versus unbeaten Mexican prospect Diego Torres. It just comes three months later and without the high profile that would have come with its previous placement.

Nigerian heavyweight Efe Ajagba hopes to take a giant leap towards a title opportunity when faces upset-minded Australian Joe Goodall in the 10-round main event Saturday, Nov. 4 at Tahoe Blue Event Center in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. This will be the first boxing event at the venue, which opened earlier this month.

Lightweight contender Raymond Muratalla suffered a training injury and has been forced to withdraw from his ESPN-televised co-feature this Saturday, Aug. 12, against fellow unbeaten Diego Torres at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
