The secretary of the Department of Recreation and Sports, Henry Neumann, is "shocked and upset" by the information contained in the alleged dismissal of Dommys Delgado Berty, president of the Boxing Commission, as reportedly announced by the Commission's executive director, Roberto González , who is in Las Vegas, Nevada, to witness the fight between Miguel Cotto and Ricardo Mayorga.

Gonzalez, who was mentioned in the article online, denied the information reported that he plans to replace Delgado with Victor 'Luvy' Calleja, who resigned as commissioner for the office of representative in Puerto Rico of the WBA.  The news outlet mentioned five commissioners who were placed on the walking board to be fired, including Joseph 'Toto' Peñagaricano.

"That is false. Dommys Delgado is the president and there is no change. I can not understand this information. There have been no point in thinking about making changes or anything. Secretary (Henry Neumann) talked to me and is outraged. It's annoying. For me it is sad and amazing," said journalist Roy Cosme.

Besides Peñagaricano, others mentioned include Bonifacio Sanchez, Daniel Caban, Rafael Nadal, Luis Carlos Maldonado, Rafael Soto, Carlos Nieves, and Dr. Alfredo Escalera article pointing out that at least five of these would be 'executed'.

For his part, Delgado Berty, reacted surprised and upset by the information contained noting that the Secretary of DRD is giving their full support.

"He does not understand where that came from. He told me that he thought it was a joke, April Fool's Day. I said that's not true and he does not know where the news came from. I endorse the Boxing Commission. I reiterate that it fully supports me and I have every confidence of that," she said.

Since Neumann was appointed Secretary, he decided to appoint Delgado Berty to her position, and recently she won a yearly away, and later Neumann said the Commission of Puerto Rico "is the best in the world and Dommys is the best president the world."

Neumann is expected to make some type of public statements to the delicate situation.
