Orocovis, Puerto Rico - Welterweight prospect Prichard "Digget" Colon (7-0, 7KO's) has signed an exclusive managerial contract with powerful manager and advisor Al Haymon, who is known for his work with Floyd Mayweather Jr., Adrien Broner, Danny Garcia, Keith Thurman, and many others.

Prichard, who is coached by his father Richard Colón, will see action on Saturday, March 15th at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon as part of the undercard headlined by junior welterweight champion Danny "Swift" Garcia.

"I am thrilled and excited. Al Haymon is a man who knows boxing and with God's help will take my career to another level. Now is my time to shine. [Haymon] has been following my career for some time. We have been in contact and he has always been very interested in me," Colon said.

"Danny [Garcia] opened the door for us Puerto Rican fighters [to work with Haymon] and now I've become the first fighter developed in Puerto Rico to sign with him. Now I just have to work hard and show my quality . I hope I can be a tool to continue to open doors for other Puerto Rican fighters."
