Easter was moving up for his lightweight debut, while Grandos was coming down after having his last few bouts at welterweight.
Granados came out swinging, but Easter was using his length and tall frame to keep Granados at bay and landing solid shots in close. In the second, they went to war at close range with both boxers landing solid shots.
After back and forth action, Easter began to go back to using his distance to land punches in the fourth. Easter was landing a lot of crisp punches in the fifth and sixth.
In the seventh it was all-out war, as they were trading hard shots at close ranged with both boxers landing heavy punches. There was more all-out war in the eight, as they continued to trade punches in bunches. Granados continued to rally in the final two rounds, with Easter fighting him toe to toe when needed.
