Students in grades 5-12 who presented their library cards were given a chance to win a brand-new laptop and printer. A total of six participants walked away with new technology to start the school year off on track! All students were also welcomed to participate in a potato sack and hula-hoop race to win a prize pack for their grade level that included extra back-to-school supplies!

“Education plays an important role in being successful. It’s not always easy to stay motivated, but putting your best foot forward is essential to reaching your goals,” says Floyd Mayweather, Director of the Floyd Mayweather Jr. Foundation. “I encourage all parents to stay in the know about their child’s studies and school activities because they play a large role in each student’s success.”

The 2018 Back-2-School Giveaway would not have been possible without the collective efforts of our staff, volunteers, fighters, sponsors, and community supporters.
