Photos: Matthysse Makes Good on Promise With Ajose KO

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas - Junior welterweight destroyer Lucas Matthysse (32-2, 30 KOs) beat down previously unbeaten Olusegun Ajose (30-1, 14 KOs) to captured the vacant WBC interim-world championship. He punished Ajose in every single round and broke him apart until a barrage of hard punches finally sent Ajose down at the end of the tenth round, and the referee waved it off.
