Photos: Gennady Golovkin Enjoys a Day at The Races

Los Angeles, CA - Boxing Superstar and Unified Middleweight World Champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin took time out from his training camp on Sunday afternoon to attend the 2016 Nascar Auto Club 400 at the Auto Park Speedway in Fontana, CA as special guest of auto racing legend Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Along with spending time with Earnhardt Jr., Golovkin also visited with auto racing icon Richard Petty and other great drivers Kyle Busch, Brian Scott and Zach Case.

“I had a great afternoon and enjoyed attending the race and talking to Dale Jr. and the other drivers,” said Golovkin. “It was great to watch to the action from pit row and I was impressed by everything it takes to make a winning team.” Also in attendance was Golovkin’s trainer, 2015 Trainer of the Year, Abel Sanchez and Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions.

Boxing Superstar and Undefeated, Unified World Middleweight Champion Gennady, “GGG” Golovkin, 34-0 (31KO’s) will defend his titles (WBA, IBF, IBO and WBC “Interim") against Undefeated Mandatory Challenger Dominic Wade, 18-0 (12KO’s) on Saturday, April 23 at the Fabulous Forum in the main event at UNDEFEATED.

Co-featured will be Consensus #1 Pound-For-Pound Fighter and WBC Flyweight World Champion Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, 44-0 (38KO’s) battling World Ranked Contender McWilliams Arroyo, 16-2 (14KO’s) of Puerto Rico.

Both bouts will be televised Live on HBO World Championship Boxing® beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
