As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) visited Moscow as part of his European tour. At a local gym, a crowd of reporters and fans were waiting for him.
And despite the fact that the news of his visit was disclosed in the morning, the event was in doubt due to Mayweather having trouble getting a Russian visa. Mayweather appeared at the gym after a two-hour delay, accompanied by local promoters and bodyguards. Mayweather explained some training tricks to the amateurs and showed off some moves of his own.
