Heavyweight contender Bryant Jennings (19-1, 10KOs) is training hard at the Boca PAL Gym in Boca Raton, Florida. Jennings has a dangerous fight scheduled as he's set to face hard-punching Cuban contender Luis Ortiz in an HBO televised fight on December 12th for interim-WBA world title.

The fight will be held at Turning Stone Resort & Casino in Verona, New York. In his last fight out, Jennings suffered his first career defeat by way of a twelve round unanimous decision to Wladimir Klitschko on April 25th at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The winner of the Jennings-Ortiz will place in himself in line for a crack at the WBA "regular" world title which is currently held by Ruslan Chagaev - and ultimately a shot at heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko.

Ortiz (23-0, 20KOs) was last in the ring on October 18th, when he battered Matialas Vidondo in three rounds to capture his interim-WBA belt on the Gennady Golovkin-David Lemieux HBO Pay-Per-View undercard.
