Photos: Archie Solis Hits Argentina For Lazarte Rematch

By Rafael Soto

Mar del Plata, Argentina - Local press of Argentina, employees of the hotel where he is staying and the people found on the streets of Mar del Plata - have expressed their respect and even admiration for Ulises "Archie" Solis, who on Saturday will challenge Luis "Mosquito" Lazarte for the flyweight title of the International Boxing Federation (IBF). The fight is a rematch of their December bout which ended in a controversial draw.

Words of encouragement and support, with phrases like "you're the champion, you were robbed" and "you're oing to prove that you're the best" have been heard during this week as Solis has been in Mar del Plata, where he came last Sunday for his world championship fight.

"My mind is to beat him with intelligence and to not allow any illegal attackes. That title is returned to Mexico," said Solis.

It doesn't matter where he goes, if it's not at home, it's best to win by knock out. My calculations in such a fight is; a 2 point margin to the champion for being the champion, and the hometown advantage…
