Back in 2019, Serrano banked a dominant decision win over Hardy.
The rematch saw scores of 99-91, 100-90, 100-90.
Serrano came out landing heavy punches to the head and body in the first. Hardy was taking punishment and her face was getting busted up. In the second, Serrano continued to unload with heavy punches. Hardy was trying her best to fight back, but she couldn't push Serrano back.
The third saw Serrano taking her time and landing accurate punches for most of the round. In the fourth, Hardy came in and stayed close to trade punches. Serrano continued to land the more damaging punches. Hardy did a little better in the fifth while punching and moving backwards.
In the sixth, Hardy was willing to stand and trade. Serrano was walking through the shots and unloading at times. A gutsy seventh by Hardy, who continued to get tagged with heavy punches to the head and body. Hardy was doing her best to fight back.
During the eight, Serrano more or less controlled all of the action. The ninth saw Serrano come out going for the kill. She was coming forward and blasting away with hard shots. Hardy was taking punishment but continued to fight back. There was a clash of heads that opened up a cut on the head of Hardy.
In the tenth and final round, they came out trading punches. Hard was standing and trading in toe to toe fashion. Hardy was rocked and took some real punishment during the round.
