Russian lightweight Petr "Czar" Petrov (38-6-2) begins a comeback of sorts March 23 in Albacete, Spain, against an opponent to be announced, reports

Petrov has only fought twice in the last two years and it´s been at the highest level but he suffered back to back losses against Terry Flanagan and Ivan Baranchyk. It´s been close to seven years ago since Petrov last fought in Spain where he began his career.

EU welterweight  champion Jordy Weiss (22-0) defends the title against Jussi Koivula (24-5-1) from Finland on April 26 in Laval, France. This is the first defence for Weiss, who won the title last year by beating José Del Rio. In Koivula he face an experienced and tough opponent who will surely test him.


Moroccan super welterweight prospect Mohammed Rabbii (8-0) is featured on the undercard to Kabayel vs Rudenko March 2 in Magdeburg and is in against Edwin Palacios (12-6-1). Rabii, top class as an amateur, is promoted by SES.

Also on the bill is light heavy Adam Deines (16-0-1) and he takes on Georgian Levani Lukhutashvili (9-3).

The show is built around heavyweights and EC Boxing have Erik Pfeifer (2-0) and Danilo Milacic (5-0) on the undercard. Pfeifer faces Italian Angelo Rizzo (5-0-1) and Milacic faces Bulgarian Zheko Zhekov (3-4-1). Hussein Muhamed, also a heavyweight and 8-0, fight Ukrainan veteran Alex Mazikin (14-13-2). Finally, Peter Kadiru, will make his debut on the bill. Kadiru,is regarded as one of the best prospects on the amateur scene and will be promoted by SES.


WBC female minimumweight champ Fabiana Bytyqi (14-0) defends her title April 6 in Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic, against Mexican Maria Vargas (12-3). In the chief support on this SES "Team Czech Republic" promotion heavyweight Tomas Salek (9-0) go for the national title against reigning champ Pavel Sour (10-1).


Italian heavyweights Gianmarco Cardillo (9-0-1) and Luca D´Orentzi (9-1) battle it out for the vacant national title April 19 in Cassino (not far from Rome) on a Buccione Boxing Team show. Cardillo held the title in 2017 but have only fought once since then.
