Former world champion Oscar "Chololo" Larios  has officially started training professional boxers at the "Julian Magdaleno" gym in Guadalajara. Larios has hooked up with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez's company, Canelo Promotions, which is run by Chepo and Edison Reynoso. He hung up his gloved in 2009 to start a coaching career.

Larios, who reigned strong in the super bantamweight division, fought as a professional between 1994 and 2009, leaving with a record of 63 wins (39 KOs), 7 defeats and a draw. "Chololo" exchanged blows with some of the best of his time - including Israel Vazquez, Cesar Soto, Manny Pacquiao and Jorge Linares, among others.

"I am very happy to return to the gym where I trained as a fighter," Larios said.
