Oscar De La Hoya: record, next fight and profile →
MMA legend Anderson Silva is more than willing to step in the ring with Youtube star turned boxer, Logan Paul. Silva, 46-years-old, turned back the clock back in June - when he took part in sanctioned boxing match and won an upset decision over WBC former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.
Oscar De La Hoya is willing to settle his differences with Canelo Alvarez in the ring. The Mexican icon’s former promoter is 17 years older than him. “The Golden Boy” hasn’t fought in 12½ years, either, but De La Hoya likes his chances against the WBA/WBC/WBO super middleweight champion many consider the best boxer, pound-for-pound, in the sport.
MMA legend Vitor Belfort has praised Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya for accepting a fight with him. On September 11 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, De La Hoya will enter the ring for the first time since December 2008 - when he was battered and stopped by Manny Pacquiao.

Oscar De La Hoya refrained from talking trash to Vitor Belfort during their press conference Tuesday in Los Angeles. The 48-year-old De La Hoya realizes he is in for a difficult fight September 11, when he’ll battle Belfort in an eight-round cruiserweight boxing match that’ll count on the six-division champion’s record. De La Hoya expressed respect for the retired UFC legend as they participated in a press conference outside of Staples Center, the site of their Triller Fight Club pay-per-view main event.
Triller Fight Club has officially announced that Oscar De La Hoya's comeback is no longer an exhibition and has now become an actual sanctioned fight. De La Hoya, a former six division world champion, will return to the ring against MMA legend Vitor Belfort on September 11.
Former three division world champion Felix "Tito" Trinidad, 48-years-old, has no intention of coming back to the ring in any capacity. Trinidad had his last fight in January 2008, when he lost a twelve round unanimous decision at the hands of Roy Jones Jr. at light heavyweight. The Puerto Rican star took the fight after nearly three years of inactivity.
Oscar De La Hoya is returning to the ring for the first time since 2008 to battle MMA fighter Vitor Belfort in an exhibition match on Sept. 11 in Las Vegas on Triller PPV.
Oscar De La Hoya does not plan on futzing around in the kiddie pool for long. The boxing icon and founder of Golden Boy Promotions made his boldest declaration to date for a comeback during an in-studio appearance on Mike Tyson’s podcast Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson. After a few warm-up exhibition bouts, De La Hoya says he has every intention of diving headlong into the deep end to face either a former ring rival or an aggrieved ex-promotional client.
