Cuban heavyweight sensation Odlanier Solis (17-1, 12KOs) is currently preparing in training camp in Orlando, Florida for his comeback fight on the 19th of May in Texas. Solis is being trained by Pedro Diaz for his upcoming fight against Konstantin Airich (23-5-2, 17KOs).

Solis' promoter, Ahmet Oner of Arena Boxing Promotions, expects the boxer to win a world championship. Solis returns from a big career setback. The boxer badly injured his knee during his first round TKO loss to Vitali Klitschko, which took place last March.

After several knee operations and months of rehabilitation, Solis is finally ready to go after the best boxers at heavyweight.

"It's good to see Odlanier back into action," said Oner to Figo Sport. "Anyone who sees how hard and dedicated he is working [in camp], and how much fun he's having at the same time in training, a new era may soon dawn in the heavyweight division."

"Finally, the only serious challenger to the Klitschko brothers is back in training. It also means that there is finally a strong hope in the heavyweight division. Had he not been stopped by his unfortunate knee injury, Solis would have already been the world champion. Odlanier is the only boxer in the world who can beat both Klitschko brothers. I hope he gets the chance to prove it before Vitali retires."
