Luna Park, Buenos Aires, Agentina - The flyweight champion of the WBO, Omar "El Huracan" Narvaez, retained his crown for the third time by unanimous decision over William Urina of Colombia. All three judges saw it 117-110 for the champion. Narvaez used his speed and defensive ability to control an come-forward Urina, who at times surprised and silenced the champion with his aggressive punching. However, the champion used distance, blocked shots, made a lot of feints and landed punches when he saw the openings.

Omar “El Huracán” Narváez raised his record to 35-0-2, 19 KOs, while William Urina goes to 17-2, 14 KOs.

Yesica "La Tuti" Bopp retained her WBO/WBA junior flyweight titles with a technical knockout victory at 1:48 of the ninth round over Mexico's Yesenia "Little" Martinez. "La Tuti" (now 16-0, 7 KOs), was considerably better than her opponent and at times gave her a real beating. The tough and courageous Martinez (9-7, 8 KOs) never demonstrated any defensive capability and took a barrage of punishment. From the beginning of the fight, there was a huge gap in talent, speed and coordination between Bopp and her opponent. In the ninth, the ref had seen enough of a one-sided beating and stopped the fight.

Also on card, WBA Fedelatin super flyweight king, unbeaten Cordoba Roberto "Incho" Sosa (21-0, 12 KOs) outpointed James "The Gale" Acosta (17-8 -2, 7 KOs) over six rounds in a long-awaited rematch. The scores were 58 to 56.5, 59.5 to 56 and 59.5 to 55.

WBA Fedelatin champion at welterweight, Hector "El Tigre" Saldivia (38-2, 31 KOs) scored a spectacular win over Brazilian Carmelito De Jesus (14-3, 11 KOs) in six rounds. "El Tigre" closed the show with an excellent uppercut to the chin.
