The sons of two former Mexican world champions, the great Julio César Chávez Sr. and the pride of Acapulco, Marcos Villasana, will be in action this Friday, at the "Leonardo Gastélum" Auditorium in Los Cabos, as part of a card being staged by Bxstrs and presented internationally on ESPN KnockOut.

Omar “Businessman” Chávez (38-8-1, 25 KO`s) will seek to return to the path of victory, when he faces the Mexican Daniel “Muñeco” Vega (16-6-1, 13 KO`s) in a 10 rounder at middleweight.

Chávez is coming off a June loss, by points, against Rafael Amarillas. It was Chavez's third defeat in a row.

The 'Son of a Legend' is aware that victory is essential, to have any chance of getting himself back in the world rankings in 2023.

Also in action, another second-generation boxer in Marcos Villasana Jr.

Villasana (22-7, 15 KO's) will face Edgar "Diablito" Espinosa (10-3, 6 KO's) over 8 rounds in a lightweight fight.

Last May, Villasana saw a streak of twelve consecutive wins come to a halt, when he lost on points to the two-time Belarusian Olympian, Dzmitry Asanau, in Germany, and this time he will face "Diablito" Espinosa who likes to fight at close range and in the center of the ring, so the contest promises fireworks at the start.

As part of the card, Yoali Mosqueda (4-0, 3 KO's) who will risk his undefeated record against an experienced fighter from Chiapas, Francisco "Charrito" Gómez (14-10, 11 KO's) in an 8-round flyweight bout.

It will be Mosqueda's first fight over 8 rounds, and the first time he has faced an opponent with more than four victories, and "Charrito" is a rival accustomed to giving surprises, as indicated by his triumphs against experienced rivals such as Luis "Chapo ” Castro, Hiram Gallardo and George Navarro.

Also participating on the card will be contender Israel “Jiga” González (28-5-1, 11 KO's), who will stay busy in an 8-round bantamweight fight against Julián Yedras (11-24, 13 KO's).
