Nahir Albright: record, next fight and profile →
Keyshawn Davis is never short on confidence or motivation to excel in the pro ranks. Of course, he needn’t look any further than his own gym for the ultimate boost in both categories, given the current status of stablemate Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford.
Saturday night at The Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas, lightweight Nahir Albright will look for his second consecutive win over a United States Olympian when he fights Keyshawn Davis in a 10-round co-feature bout that will be televised live on ESPN (10:30 PM ET / 7:30 PT).

Janibek Alimkhanuly and Vincenzo Gualtieri will attempt to provide much-needed leadership in the barren middleweight division. The pair of unbeaten titlists began with their obligatory staredown immediately after they both made weight for their WBO and IBF unification bout this Saturday from Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas. Kazakhstan’s Alimkhanuly was 159.3 pounds while Germany’s Gualtieri checked in at 159 ½ pounds for their ESPN-televised main event. The two then met face-to-face and refused to turn away, even after being instructed by Top Rank staff to turn and face the cameras. Alimkhanuly offered an evil grin before he slowly ended the session, while Gualtieri never broke eye contact.
The latest step in the career of Keyshawn Davis comes with the knowledge of the next one already in store. It is why the 2020 Olympic Silver medalist and fast-rising lightweight inked a long-term deal with Top Rank upon turning pro just two years ago. Ten fights into his promising pro career, the 24-year-old southpaw is already several moves ahead even as he enters the ring versus Nahir Albright this weekend.

By Jake Donovan - Keyshawn Davis expects to see a few new looks but not necessarily a stiffer challenge in his next outing. Janibek “Qazaq Style” Alimkhanuly is ready to conquer the middleweight division one belt a time. The reigning WBO world champion will lock horns against unbeaten IBF world champion Vincenzo Gualtieri in a title unification showdown on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Fort Bend Epicenter in Rosenberg, Texas. LAS VEGAS – Nahir Albright sabotaged Karlos Balderas’ comeback Friday night. Though clearly the B side in their eight-round lightweight fight, Albright beat Balderas by majority decision and produced the biggest win of his career on the Seniesa Estrada-Leonela Yudica undercard at Palms Casino Resort’s Pearl Theater. Judge Chris Migliore scored their very competitive contest a draw (76-76), but judges Lisa Giampa (77-75) and Dave Moretti (77-75) scored five rounds apiece for Albright.
Seniesa Estrada soaked in the ambiance for the weigh-in ahead of her first headlining act. Making weight was the easy part for the unbeaten WBC and WBA strawweight champion, who was a fighting fit 104.4 pounds for her upcoming title defense. Estrada meets former IBF flyweight titleholder Leonela Paola Yudica, who was a career lightest 103.7 pounds.
