Nadjib Mohammedi, Firat Arlsan, Mariusz Wach Pick Up Wins

Tough French veteran light heavy Nadjib "Ironjib" Mohammedi (42-8) stopped Konni Konrad (24-3-1) in the fourth to win the vacant IBF European title on the headliner of Blanko Sports´ show In Friedrichshafen (Germany).

Mohammedi came up short in the US against the likes of "Krusher" Kovalev and OleksandrGvozdyk but at this level he is quite a force.

In Trondheim, Norway, boxer and model Anders Eggan (5-0) outscored Volodymyr Romanenko (8-9) over six.

Romanenko and his team made it to Amsterdam on Friday but somehow missed two connecting flights and arrived in Trondheim at noon fight night - minus his boxing equipment but the promoters solved the problems and Romanenko gave Eggan a solid fight.

In the co-feature cruiser Simen Nysaether (8-0) outscored Swede Samo Jangirov (4-2-1) over six hard-fought rounds.

Heavyweight Patrick Korte (16-1) knocked out Croatian Marino Goles (24-10) 1.24 into the first round in the headliner of this show at the Grugahalle.. Korte won the vacant IBO Continental title.

Still in Germany, but now in Schwaebish Gmuend middleweight and co-promoter Kasim Gashi (13-2) won the interim GBU title with a unanimous 12-round decision over Pavel Semjonov (24-13-2). In the chief support cruiser Mohammed Bekdash (17-0) stopped Estonian Anton Sjomkin (14-9-1) in the third.

48-year old former WBA cruiserweight king Firat Arslan (47-8-3) stopped Finland´s Sami Enbom (18-5) in the third of a scheduled ten-rounder at the Verti Hall in Berlin. In the headliner super lightweight Jeremias Nicolas Ponce (25-0) upset local man Rico Mueller (25-3-1) and won the IBO title with a majority decision.

In Katowice, Poland, big heavyweight Mariuz Wach (34-5) stopped much smaller Georgian Gorgita Gorgiladze (8-31) in the second. It was scheduled for eight.

Spanish super lightweight Alejandro Moya (12-0) stopped Jarkko Putkonen (16-6-2) in the sixth in San Clemente de Llobregat on the outskirts of Barcelona. Also on the bill was super featherweight Moussa Gholam (14-0) who outscored Mexican Sergio Puente (28-8) over eight.

What happened to Wach? After his fight with Wlad he faded badly. Huge guy that could have been a champion

Nice. Mohammedi got screwed in his last fight in Russia, he won that one but lost on the scorecards. That was very unfair and sad to see
