Murat Gassiev and Yunier Dorticos will square off in a bout between unbeaten cruiserweights, Steven Bash confirmed with BoxingScene.com on Monday night.
Gassiev and Dorticos will square off in a 10 round bout with a handful of regional titles at stake.
“Dorticos signed his side of the contract,” Bash, who represents Gassiev, told BoxingScene.com. “We have a fight.”
The fight is scheduled to take place on March 6 at the Civic Auditorium in Glendale, a suburb of Los Angeles.
The Russian-born Gassiev (20-0, 14 KOs) made his United States debut on January 23, winning by disqualification when his opponent, Terrence Smith, repeatedly held Gassiev during the fourth round.
After winning his first 17 bouts as a pro by knockout, Dorticos (18-0, 17 KOs) won a one-sided 10 round unanimous decision over Edison Miranda on July 10 in Miami, Florida.
A full undercard will be announced at a later date. For tickets and information, contact Bash Boxing at (626) 388-8888.
