Earlier today, former champion Anthony Mundine (43-4, 25KOs) held a press conference in Australia to announce a July fight in Las Vegas against veteran Bronco McKart (54-9-1, 32KOs). It was claimed that ESPN would be airing this event on July 4th, but several sources have advised BoxingScene.com that Mundine-McKart is NOT going to appear on the network.

In fact, several of the details provided at this presser were inaccurate. The fight is actually taking place on July 14th at the Palms Casino, and Wealth TV will be carrying the card, which is going to be promoted by Vlad Wharton. The fight was orginally targeted for the Hard Rock on July 21, but the UFC has already booked the date.

As far as the actual ESPN date for the first week of July, Sampson Boxing is staging a card on July 6th at the Hard Rock, with former champion Marvin Sonsona taking on Orlando Cruz in the main event.
