Shane Mosley is a common opponent for Miguel Cotto and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.  On November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Canelo will challenge Cotto for the WBC middleweight championship in the main event of an HBO Pay-Per-View.

Mosley believes the experience and the ability to adapt is going to be the difference in the Puerto Rican veteran's ability to pull off the victory over the young Mexican superstar.

Mosley fought Cotto in 2007, at the welterweight limit, and he lost a very close twelve round unanimous decision. The scores were 115-113, 116-113 and 115-113 in favor of the Caguas native.

Five years later, in what supposed to be the final stage of his career, Mosley lost a decision to Canelo in a one-sided fight at junior middleweight. The scores were 119-109, 119-109 and 118-110.

Mosley is only one of the men who fought both Cotto and Canelo, as did Alfonso Gomez, Austin Trout and Floyd Mayweather Jr.

"Wow, that's a good fight. It's a fight that can go either way, but I think Cotto has a slight advantage because of his experience and because he can be a fighter who can adapt in the fight if needed as well. Canelo has potential, he has achieved great things, but Cotto has been around longer in the middleweight division and he's good at that weight," Mosley said.

"The difference I think is that Cotto knows how to adjust, as he did with Mayweather and we saw him give a great fight, while Canelo could not adjust [with Mayweather] and was always trying to hurt him with a single punch. If he knows how to adjust now, that could set the tone."

Canelo and Cotto will fight this November 21 scepter middleweight World Boxing Council in one of the most anticipated battles of recent times between two natural 154 pounds are innvadiendo immediate superior.
