Former NFL linebacker Mike Balogun scored the biggest win of his career, stopping the son of Tommy Morrison, Trey Lippe-Morrison in a single round.
Mike Balogun envisions a big month for football players in the ring. The former NFL linebacker steps up in class as he faces second-generation heavyweight Trey Lippe-Morrison — the son of late, former WBO heavyweight titlist Tommy Morrison—in a battle of unbeaten prospects. The bout is part of an all-heavyweight TrillerVerz IV fight card Thursday evening live on Fite TV from Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
Mike Balogun could not have been given a more appropriate platform for his planned breakout performance. The former NFL linebacker is more than seven years into his pro boxing career but still fighting for his place at the table. Balogun has an opportunity to change that on Thursday evening, when he collides with second-generation heavyweight Trey Lippe-Morrison. The scheduled ten-round bout is part of a heavyweight-themed Triller Fight Club IV show live on Fite TV from Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
