Miguel Cotto was one of the most devastating punchers in the sport at 140 and 147, and even showed some pop at '54.
However, Cotto is once again moving up in weight, and will face middleweight champ Sergio Martinez at a catchweight of 159 on June 7. Will he able to inflict damage in yet another weight class?
"When you are a guy with power no matter where you are going you are going to carry that power with you," Cotto said on a media conference call Thursday. "I'm here doing my best in the training camp and I know what I am capable of doing when I get in the ring on June 7."
While Cotto wouldn't reveal what weight he'll come in at fight night, it doesn't sound like he's trying to get all the way up to '59.
"I am going to go in the ring at the weight that is most comfortable for me," Cotto said. "It doesn’t necessarily have to be 159. I am going to be comfortable. I have going to be happy. I am going to do my best."
