Strength and conditioning coach Angel 'Memo' Heredia has issued a statement with respect to former world champion Lucian Bute testing positive for Ostarine in connection to his twelve round draw earlier this year with Badou Jack in Washington, DC. According to Bute,  analysis of a product named Dynamita recovery, made by Pharmagenic laboratory in San Diego, California, contained traces of the contamination Ostarine.

PERSONAL STATEMENT FROM ANGEL "MEMO" HEREDIA

I, Angel Guillermo Heredia Hernández, am the owner of AMEURO ELITE NUTRITION (“AEN”).  The purpose of this statement is to set the record straight and distance myself from any liability in the recent case of Lucian Bute, a professional fighter and client of AEN.

First and foremost, I want to clarify that AEN is a company completely unrelated to Pharmagenics.  They are two separate and different companies.

AEN contracted the services of Pharmagenics for the manufacturing of a sample of supplements for Mr. Bute.  The formula for the supplements were created by AEN and then sent to Pharmagenics laboratories for manufacturing.  Manufacturing includes prime matter, color, taste and the final product.  Pharmagenics then invoiced AEN by the formula received.

The formulas created and prepared by AEN and remitted to Pharmagenics for manufacturing have exclusively always contained legal materials and substances as approved by WADA.   None of the formulas that AEN has created and delivered to Pharmagenics has ever contained Ostarine or any other illegal substance.  That was the case with the formulas created for Mr. Bute.  Therefore, AEN does not have and cannot have any liability for the contamination of the product (Dynamite PM).  AEN has never had any participation, direct or indirect, in the manufacturing of products, including Dynamite PM.

AEN has worked over the years with many world champions and has never been involved with a fighter that has violated WADA protocols, or that has failed a pre or post fight doping test.  For years AEN has been in the business of the clean preparation and conditioning of fighters. AEN feels proud to be the most sought after company in the US, Canada, Mexico and Europe for our services.  In fact, Lucian Bute himself, interested party in this matter, declared that AEN was free of any liability and that the investigation of this incident pointed to Pharmagenic as manufacturer.

AEN will seek a formal legal investigation of this matter through its attorneys, and will request that these unfounded allegations against it be thoroughly examined and probed to the last consequences.
