Mateusz Masternak (33-2, 24 KOs) has arrived in Paris, ready for his hotly anticipated cruiserweight clash with former world champion Jean Marc Mormeck (37-5, 23 KOs), on Friday night (December 5) at the Palais des Sports in Issy-les-Moulineaux, Hauts-de-Seine, France.

‘’It’s great to be here. Paris is a fantastic city and I look forward to showcasing my skills in front of the French boxing fans,’’ said Masternak, who is aware victory could lead to a world title challenge next year.

‘’Mormeck is a good opponent. He has proven himself at the highest level time and time again. However, I believe his best days are behind him, while I’m just approaching my peak. He is a stepping-stone for me to return to world level. I want to beat him convincingly and send a message to all the top cruiserweights around the world.’’
