MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas, NV - Four-division champion and Manny Pacquiao conqueror Juan Manuel Marquez (56-7-1, 40KOs) was in Las Vegas to witness Manny Pacquiao's 12 round unanimous decision victory over Timothy Bradley. The fight and "No Trump" undercard was distributed by HBO pay-per-view.

Marquez, who covered the fight as an expert analyst for ESPN Deportes, has been linked to a potential clash against fellow four-division champion Miguel Cotto (40-5, 33KOs) who lost an unanimous decision to Canelo Alvarez in November.

"I start training. I would like to fight in July or August maybe in Mexico City.  Right now my knee feels good but when I start training everyday we will see."

"Cotto wants to fight with me.  We will see.  It is a great fight for me. I start training right now.  I want to have a preparation fight first then see how I feel.  It is an incredible rivalry," said Marquez in reference to the Mexico versus Puerto Rico rivalry.

Marquez has been out of the ring for nearly two years and made it clear that he would need a tune up before facing a fighter the stature of Cotto.  The Mexico City native who is a very small welterweight, also let it be known that Cotto would have to drop back down to welterweight to make the fight come to fruition.

"Cotto wants to fight with me at 147. If Cotto gives the fight at 147 and I feel good, let's do the fight," Marquez told BoxingScene.com.
