MARCO Antonio Barrera came back with a technical knockout win against patsy Mexican Sammy Ventura at Sichuan Gymnasium in Chengdu, China a few minutes ago in a boxing show that is part of WBC’s 46th Annual Convention.

Barrera pinned Ventura on the ropes and put him down twice with his back, sliding on the ropes and ended up with his butt on the canvas.

Referee Kenny Bayless stopped the one-sided fight in 1:01 of the fourth round of scheduled 12-round, light welterweight contest.

The fight started like a sparring session, but when Barrera found out Ventura’s weakness – the body – in the second round, the future hall of famer pounded his ribcage and midsection continuously.

A left hook to the head from the former 5-time world champion forced Ventura to back off in the last 30 seconds in the third round and Bayless watched him at the break to find out if he can continue in the fourth, then stopping the action.
